Respawn Entertainment & EA’s Studios Are Currently Developing Star Wars Games


An developer at Respawn Entertainment has announced that there is a third-person Star Wars game that is currently under development. Also EA announced that they have multiple studios creating a variety of great Star Wars games spanning in different genre’s. They are also hiring and looking for

Stig Asmussen, one of the developers at for Respawn Entertainment had wrote on the website on how they will be teaming up with Electronic Arts(EA) to build their next Star Wars game.

“I am happy to announce our partnership with Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm to deliver a whole new adventure to the galaxy.

For me, just typing these words is surreal.” said Asmussen. “I have been playing Star Wars games my whole life, now I get to make a Star Wars game. On top of that, I get to do it at Respawn, a studio comprised of the most talented collection of game makers, creators, visionaries, and (most importantly) advocates for the player, that I have had the good fortune to work with. And we, like you all, have no shortage of Star Wars passion.”

As for EA they noted that many of their studios will be working different Star Wars Projects that will be arriving in the future.

“Today, Iā€™m thrilled to be able to announce that EA and the talented team at Respawn Entertainment have expanded our relationship to include the development of an all-new 3rd person action adventure game set in the Star Wars universe. They join our other great studios ā€“ Visceral Games, DICE, Capital Games, BioWare, Motive and more ā€“ who are currently working on Star Wars projects.”

Both studios are also looking for more people to join their studios in developing these games on their career pages for Respawn Entertainment Careers and EA Careers
